Earlier today, Troy Lee Designs/KTM’s Jessy Nelson hit the ground hard while testing at the KTM test track and was injured. We were told unconfirmed reports that Jessy sustained a major concussion and an injured shoulder. With Jessy being the only rider in the 250SX Western Regional Championship to challenge Star Racing/Yamaha’s Cooper Webb last Saturday night in Anaheim, this injury could be a tough blow to the Troy Lee Designs/KTM team and to the series.
Just now, the Troy Lee Designs/KTM team confirmed what we had heard with an Instagram post. There is no confirmation on Jessy’s injuries, but we’re sure they will release that as soon as they know the full extent. You can read what @TLD_Moto had to say below.
