Not even a broken femur can knock the smile off the seven-deuce-deuce’s face.

Rocky Mountain ATV/Fly Racing’s Adam Enticknap, better known as the seven-deuce-deuce, was injured in a practice crash getting ready for the San Diego 2 SX. The #722 reportedly broke his femur in the crash and will no doubt miss the remaining rounds of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. Adam said from Instagram, “I had surgery last night and I am walking today! Thank you to all my fans and friends for so much love on the phone! It’s amazing how much the motocross community cares!”

This is a bummer deal for the journeyman privateer, who was filling in for the injured Kyle Chisholm on the Rocky Mountain ATV Honda. We wish the Lompoc, CA rider a speedy recovery and hope to see his smiling face back at the races soon.

Check out Adam’s Instagram post from the hospital, where he is smiling as usual, below.
