With the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, the 2016 Motocross World Championship and the 2016 MXoN officially in the record books, the off season European Supercross schedule is nearly upon us. For the riders, it’s the best time of the year. They can rest if they prefer to, but most of the top riders will choose to race some select events before their regular season reconvenes in 2017.
This weekend we will witness the inaugural 2016 SMX Riders and Manufacturers Cup, with the 2016 Monster Energy Cup just one week later. Another event everyone is looking forward to is the AUS-X Supercross down in Australia on 11/12 and 11/13. Former four-time 450SX Champion Ryan Villopoto will suit up and take on Australian legend Chad Reed at this year’s AUS-X Supercross.
Check out some of the events that will be taking place between now and the Anaheim 1 season opener below.
