The 2016 Monster Energy Cup is in the books, and for the sixth straight year we saw a first time winner of the event. The 2015 Monster Energy Cup winner, HRC / Honda’s Ken Roczen, won two of the three main events, but a huge crash and DNF in main event number two killed his bid to become the first two time winner. Instead, Monster Energy / Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac used a consistent 2-1-4 score to win the event and take home $100,000 for his efforts. Eli was joined on the podium by the two Red Bull / KTM teammates, Ryan Dungey and Marvin Musquin.

In the Amateur All-Star race, Cameron McAdoo recorded a 7-1 score to take home the win, and he also cashed in two holsehots to also win a brand new Toyota Tacoma truck. Some of the best racing action of the night was in the Supermini class. Seth Hammaker was the fastest rider all day and also dominated the opening moto on his privateer Kawsaki, but the moto two win and the overall went to Team Green rider Stilez Robertson (2-1).

After the race, Eli Tomac, Ryan Dungey, Marvin Musquin, Cameron McAdoo and Stilez Robertson answered some questions from the press in the post race press conference. Click play below to hear from all of them below.
