There are obviously two sides to Max.

The only way in this day and age to secure a team’s future success is to start mining for gold early on in the amateur motocross scene. Riders like Adam Cianciarulo, Austin Forkner and many others like them were signed long before they went pro, and the newly formed Rocky Mountain ATV/MC / WPS / KTM team is following that trend by starting their new Amateur Elite Program.

The first signing to their new program was just announced as Max Markolf. The team said today from Instagram, “Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC – KTM – WPS is proud to announce the birth of our new AMATEUR ELITE PROGRAM, with the signing of amateur sensation MAX MARKOLF! Markolf will become the first rider of what is the latest addition to the new team. Our amatuer elite team will be a specifically designed ride to bring top amateur riders to the end of the their amateur careers, and take on the first year of their professional career. Max has been chosen to be the face of the new program. We are excited to have such a talented young MX rider and such a charismatic young man to take on this venture! More news to come in detail on the new Amateur Elite program, and the team’s future plans through 2019. Welcome to the team @markolf827”
