MotoXAddist’ Chase Yocom received a mysterious text yesterday indicating that Christophe Pourcel was out over at Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna—possibly racing a different series in the summer—and Dean Wilson was in. Until now, it looked like just a rumor. We have not heard any official word from Deano or the Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna team, but we just posted the 2017 Oakland SX pre-entry list an hour ago, and Dean Wilson is signed up with Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna as his official team.
If this is a mistake by the AMA, it wouldn’t be a first, but combined with the mysterious text, it sure seems interesting. Pourcel is also on the pre-entry list, but we have heard he may be racing a different MX series over the summer. We will wait on a press release to report more, but this would be awesome news for the #15 and his large legion of fans. We will report more confirmation when we get it.
