The bad luck for GEICO / Honda’s Jeremy Martin continues in Supercross. At the 2017 Glendale SX, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The two time AMA 250 Motocross National Champion was behind 51Fifty / Yamaha’s Tyler Bowers when Bowers cartwheeled through a rhythm section. Through no fault of his own, Jeremy caught a Yamaha wheel right in the head. It was reported that Bowers suffered a broken femur in the crash and Jeremy suffered an injury to his head.

The #6 pulled out of the Glendale SX, and the GEICO / Honda team just reported that he will also be forced to sit out the 2017 Oakland SX this weekend. From @fchonda on Instagram, “Unfortunately, due to the severity of @jeremymartin6’s concussion at Glendale, he will be out for Oakland. We are hoping to see him back in Dallas”

We wish Jeremy a speedy recovery, and we look forward to seeing him back in Dallas. Check out Jeremy’s Instagram video of the crash and the teams Instagram post below.
