The defending Australian Motul MX Nationals MX1 Champion and current MX1 points leader in 2017, Dean Ferris, will make an appearance this weekend for round four of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at High Point Raceway. Dean has been unstoppable in MX1 this year in the Australian Nationals so the CDR / Yamaha rider jumped on an airplane a couple days ago heading to Mt Morris, Pennsylvania to test himself in the US.
Dean will pit with the CycleTrader.com / Yamaha rig once he arrives at High Point. How will he do? It is always hard to guess how an outsider will do jumping into a foreign series, but with five straight wins un Australia under his belt his confidence is at an all time high. If I had to make a prediction, I see Dean landing just inside the top ten but I also would not be surprised to see him battling for a top five if everything goes his way.
