At the 2017 Southwick National last weekend, Star Racing / Yamaha’s Aaron Plessinger was running second and making a run at TLD / KTM’s Alex Martin for the lead when he hit the ground hard. The way Aaron crashed, it immediately looked like a shoulder injury, but Aaron explained that it was his head and neck that took the brunt of the impact.

“Well as most of you know I crashed pretty hard yesterday and I hit my head pretty good,” Aaron said from Instagram. “Thankfully nothing was seriously hurt, just a concussion and a sore neck but other than that I’m good. A few days off and we will be ready to go at Millville! Thanks to everyone for the support.”

Aaron came into Southwick fourth in the 250MX championship, but he dropped two spots to sixth after scoring no points at round seven. With a weekend off before the series resumes for round 8 at Spring Creek, we expect to see the #23 back at the next round.
