Ouch! Kenny has never been shy about sharing his battle wounds with us.

During the main event at the 2018 San Diego SX, Team HRC / Honda’s Ken Roczen tried an aggressive pass on Monster Energy / Yamaha’s Cooper Webb. Ken drove it in deep, looped out and took both he and Cooper out. In the crash, Honda reported that Ken broke the metacarpal bone in his right hand.

From Kenny’s Instagram story today.

Tonight, Kenny put out pictures of his injuries, gave us a further update on the damage caused in the crash and filled us in on what the immediate future holds for him. “Just want to forget about this weekend,” Ken said from his @KenRoczen94 Instagram account. “Surgery on Friday on my hand. Will give an update as soon as i get a ct scan. Dunlop tires hook up great! Might be able to be back pretty quick. Will know more soon.”

Update 2/12: “Live & Learn,” Kenny said today [Monday monring] from Instagram. “Full speed ahead after surgery hoping to be back quick. Can’t miss out on more racing experience!”
