While leading heat 2 at the 2018 Arlington SX, Monster Energy / Knich / Yamaha’s Justin Barcia checked up off the triple—only doubling it—and his hand was landed on Tyler Bowers. Justin was looked at by the Alpinestars Medic crew and it was reported that Justin has a broken bone in his hand. Justin was second in the points heading into tonight, but those Championship hopes are now all but over.
