At the 2018 Tampa SX a week ago, Team HRC / Honda’s Cole Seely had a huge crash that resulted in some pretty scary injuries. Cole spent long time in the hospital and was just recently released to recover at home. “Out cruising,” Cole said from his @ColeSeely Instagram account. “Sorry for the lack of updates last week but it’s been a rough one. I fractured my pelvis and sacrum and messed up a few other things but it’s all fixed now with some hardware. I’m out of the hospital now and I’m staying in Florida until I get the ok to fly home. I’ve got a long road ahead of me but I’m stoked I have awesome people around me to help me get through it! Thanks everyone for the love on social media and the calls and texts it’s really kept me positive!”
Cole’s injuries all have some lengthy recovery times so we don’t expect to see the #14 back for some time. We hope he is able to get through this with no complications, and wish him a speedy recovery. You can can follow @ColeSeely on Instagram to stay up on his progress.
