In the third race of his rookie season, Monster Energy / Star Racing / Yamaha’s Justin Cooper showed everyone that he’s going to be a major player in the 250MX class. In his first-ever trip to Thunder Valley, the #62 won the first moto of his young career and scored the his first podium of the year with a 3rd overall. It was no doubt a huge confidence building day for the rookie.
After the podium celebration was over, I caught up with Justin over at the Star Racing truck and talked to him about his surprising raw speed, his first moto win and more.
