After winning moto one in dramatic come from behind fashion with a last lap pass on Marvin Musquin, Eli Tomac came out in moto two on fire. Unlike moto one, Eli made short work of everyone to get into the lead early in moto two. The #1 cruised away to a 14 second lead over Musquin before crashing and letting Marvin right back into the race.

After the first crash, Eli got up with the lead with Marvin right there, but once again the defending champ sprinted away to a nice 7 second lead—until he crashes again. While Eli was able to recover from crash one, crash two took all the wind out of his sails. From there Marvin walked away to a 15 second win. Marvin’s 2-1 on the day ended Eli’s overall win streak at five in a row and gave Marvin and KTM their first win of the year in the 450 class.
