During the 2019 Glendale SX 450 main event, Motoconcepts / Honda’s Malcolm Stewart had a spectacular crash that caused the race to be red flagged. There was talk last night that Malcolm may have broke his femur in the crash, and today that unfortunate news was confirmed by Malcolm himself.”Such a bummer on what happened last night,” Malcolm said from his @malcolmstewart Instagram account. “Surgery this A.M on femur! We will be back better than ever. Sorry i let you guys down! I appreciate all the prayers you guys sent me! I’ll give you guys a update soon.”

This injury will likely end Malcolm’s 2019 season. With the Malcolm not signed to race the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, we may not see him again until the 2020 Anaheim 1 SX a year from now.

You can check out a video of Mookie’s crash and his Instagram post from the hospital this morning. We will update you more when we know more.
