Jeffrey Herlings had a practice crash on Friday while training and broke his right foot. “The MXGP world champion, Jeffrey Herlings, had an operation on his right foot in Belgium last night after a training crash in Spain yesterday afternoon, announced the Red Bull / KTM / MXGP team from Instagram. “All went well for #84 and more details about his recovery and rehab will be posted at the beginning of the week. Get fit fast champ.”
It sounds like the injury is not a bad one and will not keep the World Champ away from the opening round of the 2019 MXGP World Championship, but will likely keep him from racing the entire preseason international schedule. We wish the #84 a quick recovery and look forward to see him ripping in 2019.
