At the 2019 Lacapelle Marival International Motocross in the South of France over the weekend, Rockstar Energy / Husqvarna’s newest MX2 World Championship hire, Jed Beaton, went down during timed qualifying and was forced to sit out the event. The initial reports were that Jed was okay and would be ready to contest the opening round of the MX2 World Championships in Argentina. Today, though, that all changed, and it’s now reported that Jed will be out for the season opener with a vertebrae injury.

“Jed Beaton forced to miss the @mxgp of Argentina,” the team announced on Instagram. “The Rockstar Husky MX2 class rider picked up a vertebrae injury during last weekend’s Lacapelle Marival International MX and will undergo further tests in the coming weeks.”
