The “Crafty Frenchman” of Moto, Christophe Pourcel, has been hinting quite a bit lately about making a return to racing and we heard today that he may be contesting the 2019 French Elite Motocross Championship. The series begins this upcoming weekend at the Moto Club of Castelnau de Levis, France, and it looks like CP377 will be riding a BOS FACTORY / Kawasaki—the same team that Tommy Searle and Evgeny Bobryshev ride for in MXGP this season.

*Editors update: We may have jumped the gun on that one. We were just told that Christophe will only be testing for the BOS / Kawasaki team.

CP377 is back on green

The former MX2 World Champ and two-time 250SX Regional Champion retired from racing at the highest levels of the sport early into the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross season and he most recently contested the 2017 Canadian MX Championship—where he finished 2nd in the MX1 Championship by just 3 points—but since then he has been enjoying his retirement and doing some riding schools.
