In a very bizzare finish to the SuperEnduro World Championships, Cody Webb gets robbed of the World Championship when Colton Haaker’s Rockstar / Husqvarna teammate, Alfredo Gomez, took the term team tactics to a whole new level. Gomez—knowing exactly what spot his teammate needed—slowed down and blocked Pol Tarres in the last turn of the race. The move allowed Haaker to finish third in the race and to steal the title away from an understandably pissed off Webb.
We read on enduro21.com that Gomez was disqualified from final three results for his move on Tarres. Either way, Colton Haaker is the 2019 SuperEnduro World Champion.
