While the Red Bull KTM Factory team are celebrating domination in both the MXGP and MX2 championships, with their greatest champion of all time, Antonio Cairoli and the new prince in Jorge Prado, and also have control of the AMA Supercross championship with American hero Cooper Webb, their golden child Jeffrey Herlings is about to once again turn the motocross World upside down again.

There is no doubt when the MXGP World champion returns, the chances are very good he will once again take control of the MXGP championship. Sure, he won’t be World champion in 2019, or at least it seems impossible for that to happen, he will however more than likely return to his place as the fastest man on the planet and end the season with a stunning performance at the Assen held MXoN.

That isn’t downplaying the performances of Cairoli or Tim Gajser, but it is just hard to see it go any other way. Herlings might struggle for a GP or two, he might find himself in a similar role to when he came back in 2017 and struggled to make top ten, but eventually, after a GP or two, he will be back pushing the likes of Cairoli and Gajser.

Below are some videos for those with short memories.
