I mean what can you really say at this point other than, “wow, what a year for Cooper Webb.” The third-year pro left Yamaha at the end of ’18 after two rough years on blue, joined Red Bull / KTM and Aldon Baker and converted that change into his first 7 450SX wins and his first-ever 450SX AMA National Championship in ’19. It was a fun story to watch and to report on, and it is definitely not the story anyone predicted would happen coming into 2019.
