The 250MX class at the opening round of the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Hangtown was won by Adam Cianciarulo and the Monster Energy / Pro Circuit / Kawasaki rider held on to the red plate from then until being presented with the #1 plate at Ironman.

AC saw challenges early in the season from Justin Cooper and late in the season by Dylan Ferrandis, but neither of the two Star Racing / Yamaha riders could wrestle the red plate away from the #92. In the end, Cianciarulo won his first-ever AMA National Championship and he will now take the confidence with him to the 450 class in 2020.
