Team USA’s 2019 Motocross of Nations starts off with both Jason Anderson and Justin Cooper on the ground in dead last from a crash together in the wave section. Cooper got out of sorts and Anderson smashed into him. They were 38th and 39th at the end of lap 1. Cooper crashed again and rode the entire race with his clutch off his handlebars to finished 25th, while Anderson climbed up to 13th, crashed again and finished 17th. Hand injuries have been reported for both the Team USA riders.

Team USA was 14th after the crashes in moto 1 with 42 points. Click here for full results>>>
