It has been known for quite some time now, but yesterday the Monster Energy / Star Racing / Yamaha team officially announced that Shane McElrath will be pitted under their tent on the #12 Yamaha in 2020. “We’re excited to announce that Shane McElrath has joined the Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha Team for 2020 and beyond,” the team announced. “With multiple Supercross and National wins to his credit, McElrath is hoping to earn his first championship on blue!”
Shane added, “Very excited to announce that I will be joining the Star Racing team for 2020! Ready to get to work and see all that’s in store!”
