After a near career-ending back injury and 16 months off of racing due to a list of surgeries, complications, and recovery time, Jeremy Martin will be back on the gate this weekend for the 2019 Monster Energy Cup. “It’s been more then 16 months since I last raced my GEICO / Honda,” Jeremy said. “Excited to be comfortable enough to race Monster Cup this Saturday!”
This is awesome news and another of the many cool storylines we will be following this weekend in Las Vegas. I’m sure nobody is happier than the GEICO / Honda team to see a rider on their #6 machine. “We couldn’t go all of 2019 without watching Jeremy Martin race,” a GEICO / Honda team spokeman said. “So MEC it is! So excited to see the #6 behind the gate this weekend in Vegas!”
