The 2019 Paris Supercross is in our rear-view mirror and it was one of the most hotly contested Paris SX’s in the history of the event. With none of the extremely high dollar guys in attendance, it allowed the promoters to spread their start money out a little better and what we got was some incredible bar-banging races and four different moto winners over the six SX1 races held on Saturday and Sunday.

At the end of the day, it was Monster Energy / Yamaha Justin Barcia‘s consistent 3-2-1-4-2-3 scores edging out Smartop / Motoconcepts / Honda Malcolm Stewart‘s 9-1-5-3-1-1 scores to take the overall “King of Paris” trophy home with him. BamBam and Mookie were joined on the podium by Monster Energy / Yamaha’s Dylan Ferrandis in 3rd.

We were not able to make the trip over to Paris, but GuyB from VitalMX recorded a video that included some good post-race interviews with Barcia, Stewart, Jeremy Martin (4th overall) and Chad Reed—who had a very up and down weekend. Chad’s best finish of the weekend was a 6th in the first race, with it only going downhill from there and ending one race early with a big crash.

Check out the post-race interviews below. \\
