Trey Canard was of the most likable guys the sport has ever seen, which made his many nearly catastrophic crashes and injuries over the years tough to watch. The #41 was capable of winning any time he lined up on his Honda over the years, but unfortunately, he seemed to always have a dark cloud following him around every lap he turned.

With all his crashes and injuries over the years, Trey was still able to win one Regional 250SX title and a 250MX National title, and he also won many races both in SX and MX on the 450 as well, but his true potential was never seen. Since retiring, though, Trey has taken on the role of bike tester for the HRC / Honda team and from all accounts is still a complete badass on two wheels.

Late last week, the guys from “The Whisky Throttle Show” sat down with Trey and recorded a lengthy 4-hour interview with him that covers everything you have ever wanted to know about the #41. Really good interview you can check out below.
