World Cup downhill mountain bike professional Bernard Kerr will try to qualify for the 2020 Anaheim 1 SX in three weeks and he is starting to find support from Jeremy McGrath—who loaned him a bike and is coaching him—and others along the way. Will Bernard actually pull it off? Man, that’s a tough ask, but it will definitely add a fun story to the already much anticipated 2020 Monster Energy Supercross opener. We have seen quite a few motocross racers make the transition to mountain bike racing with a lot of success, but I cannot think of anyone that has transitioned from mountain bike racing to supercross before.

Check Bernard’s SX prep and training with the “King of SX” below and follow his Youtube vlog here to keep up with his progress towards A1.
