I was in the press box when this happened at Anaheim 1, but I missed it and only got the story version of it until I saw the video pop up on YouTube. I very much appreciate this fan for having his phone switched to video and pointed at Martin. During qualifying at the 2020 Anaheim 1 SX, rookie 450 rider Martin Davalos learned the bigger 450 can be tougher to hold on to and just launched it over a berm—luckily, without him on it. Martin was okay and raced the night show, but he definitely cost his new Tedder Racing sponsor some money in parts.
