With the ever-changing dynamics of the Covid-19 pandemic, the restart date for the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross season has continued to evolve, but it still appears that FELD is hard at work to conclude the final 7 rounds starting in May at Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium. We were originally told FELD was shooting for a mid-May date, but we heard last night that it will likely kick back off with round 11 on May 31st with the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship being postponed until some time in July for their start date.

There had been speculation that certain teams and riders were pushing back in favor FELD’s original September/October Fall restart date and I believe there was some truth to that speculation, but we are told that a meeting last week brought all the teams and riders on board with the May date. It still looks like a tall order to make this happen but we are very much hoping they hit that May 31st target date. I have my Prius rental car booked for a 24-hour drive to Phoenix just in case FELD allows hard card members of the press to attend the race. I am crossing my fingers like the rest of you.

Hopefully, the 2020 Glendale 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Supercross’ will help us conclude what’s been an amazing championship so far. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
