Adam Cianciarulo is officially pulling out of competition for the remainder of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross series in Salt Lake City, Utah. After his crash last Sunday at round 11, the rookie 450SX rider went and got a CT scan of his sore lower back and he was told by his Doc that he has 4 acute fractures on the Transverse Process of his vertebrae from L1 to L4 on the right side.

“Had an idea of how this trip was going to go, and it’s safe to say it didn’t turn out that way, AC said from his Instagram account today. “Sometimes that’s life though. All you can do is wake up every day and try to be the best you can be. I know I do that, so it eases my frustration and allows me to not get discouraged. Hate it for all my supporters. I really appreciate all the love you guys have been showing me. Couple weeks off the bike and we’ll be ready to rip!

We wish AC a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing his 450MX debut during the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship in July. Check out the video update AC put out today on Instagram below.
