There is no doubt, Jeffrey Herlings wasn’t himself in Latvia. He was short on time on the bike after his mild head injury last month, and the Red Bull KTM Factory rider looked out of sorts—uncomfortable on the bike, and not his usual powerful self.
While his 4-4 results is a bad day at the office, “The Bullet” was in fact pretty relaxed when we caught up with him after the race. Down on fitness, I am not sure he can come back for this Latvia triple header and be as dynamic as we are used to. Still, there wasn’t much in it as he mentioned in the interview, so it is very possible he takes a win somewhere along the line this week.
