Amateur standout and multi-time Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Champion Nate Thrasher will make his professional debut at the 2020 Spring Creek National this weekend with the Troy Lee Designs / KTM team. “It’s official”, a representative from the team said today. “Nate Thrasher and his #488 machine will be under the TLD / KTM tent this weekend.”

The 17-year-old finished 2nd a month ago in both the 250B and the Schoolboy 2 classes at the 2020 Loretta Lynn’s Championship and was expected to spend another year as an amateur, but this will be a great opportunity to get his feet wet in the pro ranks. If he does well, we could see the teenager forego his A Class year in amateurs, but that will remain to be seen.
