With his win in moto 1 at the 2020 MXGP of Pietramurata in Italy, Red Bull / KTM’s Tom Vialle clinched his first-ever MX2 World Championship with three motos still to go in the 2020 MX2 World Championship calendar.

The 20-year-old Frenchman immediately inserted himself this season as the heir-apparent to Jorge Prado—who graduated to MXGP after back-to-back MX2 titles—after taking the red plate at round two. The #28 was challenged at different points of the season by Jago Geerts and others, but, each and every time he rose to the occasion and can now call himself a World Champion.

Congrats to Tom and the whole KTM squad on winning the 2020 MX2 World Championship.
