With the JGR / Suzuki team closing up shop, Alex Martin was left in the unemployment line looking for a ride, but the #26 has returned to one of his old homes: Manluk / Rock River / Merge Racing / Yamaha.
Alex was last with the Rock River / Yamaha squad back in 2015 before being signed to his first-ever factory ride in ’16 and he will no doubt once again try to use the Rock River Yamaha as the springboard for getting back onto factory machinery in the future. Hopefully the man they call Troll can repeat that history and get back onto to a factory backed machine in ’22 and beyond. He has definitely proved over the years that he belongs on factory equipment.
