Payson, UT (Feb.8, 2021) –As the snow fell outside, the gate dropped on the third and final race in Indianapolis. The 2021 Monster Energy Supercross series finished its residency inside the Lucas Oil Stadium in the sixth round of the season. Joey Savatgy put in another solid ride for his third top-10 finish in a row.
Joey Savatgy set his sights on a top 10 finish early in the day as he put together solid laps in qualifying to post the 12th fastest lap time. In 450 Heat 1, he overcame a mid-pack start as he worked his way forward and into a qualifying spot halfway into the race. The Gear Off-Road supported rider wasn’t done as he made a last-lap pass to secure 6th place at the finish line and a spot in the main event. In the main event, Joey launched off the gate and set himself inside the top 5 battling for position. He continued to keep the pace and fight for position to ultimately take the checkered flag in 9th place.

Justin Bogle showed his speed early in the day, posting the 11th fastest qualifying time. In 450 Heat 2, he unleashed the power of his FMF Racing Exhaust to lead the field into the first turn and grab the holeshot. He was fighting inside the top 5 for most of the race until going down in the whoops. He remounted, however, and held onto 8th place through the checkered flag. Justin got pushed wide on the first turn of the main event and started deep in the field. After working his way up, the Acerbis supported rider crossed the finish in 16th place.
The team will now travel to Orlando, FL for round 7 and 8 of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross Series.
