Every year he is on the gate, Monster Energy / Star Racing / Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin looks like a possible 250SX Regional Championship contender on paper, but something always seems to get in the way. This year it took less than 1 lap of the main event for his 2021 hopes to come to a screeching halt.

After qualifying with the third fastest lap time and winning his heat race, Jeremy got off to a bad start in the main and found himself being used as a landing ramp for Stilez Robertson in a rhythm section during the opening lap. The crash caused the red flag to come out, but Jeremy was unable to rejoin the race due to what looked like a possible shoulder injury.

We have not been updated on J-Mart’s condition but he walked off favoring a shoulder. We don’t have good video of the crash, but you can see what happened in the Instagram video we posted below.

Get well soon J-Mart.
