(Madera, CA, March 8, 2021) – H.E.P. Motorsports headed down to Daytona Beach, Florida to the World Center of Racing, Daytona International Speedway for the 2021 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series 9th round. 450 class rookies, Brandon Hartranft and Max Anstie both had consistent days of racing from qualifying all the way to the main event. Adam Enticknap continues to recover from an injury suffered the previous round and is expected to be back with team by the Atlanta rounds.
Max Anstie (#103) finishes 14th overall in the 450cc premiere class.
Max Anstie (#103) – In only his second race in the 450cc premiere class, Max Anstie looks to be catching his stride as he continues to show improvement each time he hits the track. In qualifying, Max was riding very fast and was close to knocking on the door of top 10 qualifying times before a nasty crash leading up to the finish that sent him over the bars. He was able to recover and continue racing. In his heat race, Max put a solid moto in from start to finish with an 8th place. In the main event, Max continued his steady performance with a 14th place finish.
“It’s always been a dream to race Daytona Supercross with the best guys in the world,” said Max Anstie. “The team and I made progress all day and we learned a lot. I rode my laps in the main event and came away with 14th. I’m looking forward to heading to Texas next week.”
