During the first moto of the 2021 Ironman National today in Crawfordsville Indiana, Monster Energy / Star Racing / Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin came from behind to hunt down the leader, Jett Lawrence, before over-scrubbing a jump, landing sideways and violently high-siding to the ground. After the crash, Jeremy immediately headed to the medic mule holding his already injured wrist and there was little doubt the #6 was done for the day.

Coming into today, Jeremy had been dealing with a fracture in his schaphoid bone in the same wrist he was holding and we are told he is likely out indefinitely at this point with a broken wrist. It’s been a rough year with injuries for the former two-time ANA National MX Champ, but one that has proven no matter how hard you hit the kid, he will always get back up and be battling for wins before you know it.

You can watch the crash from today at Ironman in the video below.
